Lisa,
I wish I had a magic pill to help you work through the grief, but there is not one. I cried when Tiger went to the bridge, but believe that he is not young and whole and playing waiting for me to come pick him up when I cross.

The "Rainbow Bridge" Poem and the "Note From the Bridge" both helped me deal with it. If you do need to see a doctor about depression then please do - there is no need to suffer depression [my mom suffered from Bipolar disorder so I have seen the results of bad depression and they aren't pretty]. If your doctor doesn't take your seriously then find a therapist that is 'pet friendly' and will understand your depression and pain.

I am very lucky to have several friends [online and in person] who do understand that my furkids are really my kids. I grieved like losing a child - and that is what you are doing.

Wish I could help more.

Hugs,

Kat, EBBie and Munsen
