Dr. Mike didn't want to sedate her for the x-rays (he said that might mask some of the details he would be looking for). So we took her in at 8:30 this morning so she could "hang out", give her a chance to relax, visit and charm the staff. Also took her favorite liver treats and a jar of PB - to help keep her still while x-rays were being taken.
She stayed 2 hrs and Dr. Mike said she was a good girl for her pics.
He found nothing to worry about in her heart........so at least we now have a baseline x-ray and also information on symptoms if anything develops.
On the other hand..........he said "Man, while reviewing the films I took a look at her spine.....she's a mess". Lots of spondylosis. We hadn't heard that one before, but we're not surprised as her whole skeleton is wracked with deformities and arthritis.
Don't tell her that......she's too busy getting into trouble and making friends while having a good time.
