...I bought the South Beach diet book, but haven't started reading it yet. Scott looked at it and said that it sound workable. I do like fish, so that wouldn't be a problem for me. It's just easier, and cheaper, to eat whatever you have. Buying foods for a special diet can get quite expensive, and without a job, I really didn't need any more expense tacked on. Aaah, but such is life. I could have received a worse diagnosis, I know. I've been told that by a few people, but fortunately for them, they're not dealing with diabetes. It's easy to say things when it's not you it's happening to.

That's great about your daughter losing so much weight in a short time. Gives me hope.
