Couldn't stand the thought of what could have happened to Bunker if someone hadn't brought him to rescue.....

As to my fur family....

Senny will still eat anything that doesn't run away from her (and even some things that do)! I have no idea what causes the foreign object syndrome - some of it I imagine stems from a VERY strong prey drive. I will never have a squirrel/mouse/lizard/armadillo/snake or any other small animal in the yard while Senny is on duty! Rocco on the other hand (or Box of Rocks as he is so affectionately called) does not understand Senny's fascination with all of that hunting "stuff". He kind of lays on the dog pillow on the porch and watches her and then looks at me like, "Mom - why does she work that hard?" So it is 2 very different dogs and personalities in our house. Rock is kind of funny -he's a big talker and we're having to work on some gentlemanly manners as he's kind of a big old bumbly boy who doesn't realize that he actually takes up space! Senny can gracefully get up on our laps or the bed, but Rock just kind of jumps up and lets the paws land where they may. 70 pounds of dead weight boxer landing on you can be a painful experience! We're working on it - finally after 1 1/2 years - Rock has figured out treats and toys and has decided that he loves both! I am amazed that someone took this beautiful boxer boy and kept him outside (all the time) and basically gave him no love or affection or play time. He (at the age of 4 1/2) had to learn all of that stuff!

Other than that life is great (and busy) - I'm a lurker (sorry everybody) and will try and get better about posting!
