You and Senny have been on my mind since Bunker got here. I'm watching him like a hawk - worried that "he's like Seneca!" - LOL and is going to eat everything he can get his mouth on.....
He has shown inordinate interest in the bark chips in my teeney back yard. and a few toys that had raggedy edges to pull off. He is under my thumb! (which he likes since he follows me everywhere)
He is on Rx diet ( was Purina EN, now is Hills ID). For the first five days I was feeding him only canned food meatballs 1 at a time every hour. I took him for a vet check and he was upped to more food, including some dry. He's now eating larger amounts 4 times a day and I whined my way into permission to give him bite sizes of lightly cooked chopped sirloin.
He's still anemic but I think his gums have 'pinked up' since he started on the increased food. He has a long way to go to gain his strength back.....one day at a time.
How are you...the dogs and family? Don't be such a stranger!
