Sad to say, Zack is still declining. His left rear leg stays swollen all the time and he favors it a lot. The edema is not reducing all the way, with either prednisone or Lasix/Salix. I had him walking three yards worth a few weeks ago... but now can only take him to the yard, while holding him up with slings.

His attitude is still awesome... as he wants to try and find a ball when I get home... and he fights/plays with me.. while lying on the floor. If he WANTS something... he finds a way to get up and get to it. Period. He will support himself when he eats...

I am only dreading the day he cannot get up, but still wants to... and the road I will have to cross...

I am presently looking into better slings, and a cart...
