I'm not familiar with this disorder, however our male boxer was small for his age and having some problems. We changed his food (gradually) and he picked up to a normal weight. The food he was eating as a puppy was just more protein than his body was able to handle. Our vet feared he would develop kidney problems, but so far so good, he's six years young.
