Subject: Sorry, the "Mallorn" isn't Legolas, it's one of his brothers.

Which means that Legolas's fic-brothers have names that are the Middle-Earth equivalents of "Redwood" and "Susan".

Oh, and I flipped through a later chapter... and gave up when I realized that the author had Aragorn marrying Legolas so the baby would be legitimate. [Takes deep breath and stifles rant about Canon Rape]

Which is pretty silly, because half the reason fic-Thranduil wanted to abort the baby was because he was afraid that humans would find out that fic-Sindar are hermaphroditic. Way to hide your male-pregnancy secret, huh? Sure, nobody'll notice a thing when he's Queen of Gondor, nobody pays attention to the spouse of the most powerful monarch in the world.
