Author: T.E.O.W.
Subject: Another LOTR Mary-Sue. Variety: 10th Walker. Sub-variety: Ruthless scene-stealer.

Another Sue to toy with while we wait. This one seems like a typical elf-Sue when we first meet her in the Old Forest:

"Her hair was roughly tied into braids with what looked like vines, and her dress appeared to be made from a patched cloak, but the one thing everyone
noticed was her eyes, which were a fiery red.
"Who are you?" Frodo asked. The elf girl replied, "I am an elf, if that is what you wish to know. If what you wish is to know my name, then there I cannot help you. I do not know my name." "

Of course, three paragraphs later she tells them her name. But not after ruthlessly shoving Tom Bombadil, Goldberry, Old Man Willow, and the Barrow-Wights out of the story!

"...are you familiar with these woods?" Brandywine replied, "Yes..you could call it familiar. The trees seem to trust me, that is certain. Hello!" She shouted to the trees around them, "These travelers do not wish to burn you, they do not wish to cut you down and make you into chairs and houses. They only wish to go through you towards--" She paused there. "Exactly where are you going? Rivendell, perhaps, to see Elrond?" "

And she promises to lead them to the edge of the Old Forest, but of course she won't go away once she does, she just keeps sticking around and talking about herself. And when she gets to Bree she steals Frodo's singing-in-the-bar scene, and pre-empts the whole "shall we trust this Strider guy" as well as the Nazgul attack on the Prancing Pony.

And if that weren't bad enough, her nascent Sue-powers keep the ring from affecting her:

""We want the horse," Frodo said.
"Then follow me, please," Butterbur replied, breaking into a run.
Frodo started running after Butterbur, but tripped. The Ring went flying into the bushes. "Don't worry, I'll get it,"
Lannamai started looking through the bushes. "There you are!" she grabbed the Ring, and stood up. "Here it is, Frodo!"
She handed the Ring to Frodo, who gave her a strange look."

Bad sign, isn't it. Plus, the only thing that makes the giant-block-o'-text formatting readable is that it came out double-spaced for some reason. And the author's read the books, too.

PS: But at least the author understands that the Elves are wise and good, and won't put up with red-eyed freak scene-stealing Mary-Sue offspring. The Sue's earliest memory is: "I believe I that I was tossed into the Brandywine as a child, and I think because my parents didn't want me for some reason. "
