Found <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://breakingnews.iol.ie/entertainment/story.asp?j=70296580&p=7xz97y6x&n=70297189">this article</a> at IOL and <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=16462">this one</a> at AICN, via theonering.net.

Am I the only one who is seriously annoyed at this? It's not so much that they're changing yet another part of the book, but they're leaving a major part of the plot just hanging in the proverbial air.

Apologies for going off-topic here. But, seeing as they're leaving the Saruman story to end in the middle of nowhere, <i>is</i> it possible that there will be some GAFF Saruman-stories written by people who haven't read the books. (Wasn't there a Saruman/Legolas slash story out there at one point?) Either way, I'm not happy.
