That's why I like this tiered system, as opposed to sequential posting (e.g., the format of InvisionFree's boards). The problems are the lack of editing options and adequate quote functions.

Personally, I like the traditional newsgroups the best (i.e., those accessed by newsreaders, before web boards existed), and I would prefer that format for a site-based board. Much more organized, with easier pruning (i.e., for the moderators to place otherwise irrelevant posts under an appropriate topic and eliminate redundancy). Makes it easier to disseminate the information.
