People generally give their friends more leeway in what they say. MKIceman and Heywood are not very friendly. Because of that, what he said was foreseeably guaranteed to aggravate Heywood.

Moreover, Heywood isn't in the habit of flaming other board members. He reserves it for the rabid attack fangirls who hunt us down and scream at us and the Grey Archives child rape authors. So would you say that I shouldn't be annoyed when someone I'm not particularly friendly with says something crude about me just because I've been known to yell at people who beat their kids?

What MKIceman said might have been true, but it was said very badly.
