While Godwin's Law specifically refers to Usenet, it was developed at a time when there wasn't much else. So I think that it can be legitimately applied to other media. Any invocation of nazis or Hitler counts, although I think that simply calling someone a Nazi, like "soup nazi" doesn't count - it must be a reference/comparison to actual Nazi's. Like, "Anne Rose baning me from her lists is lust like the Nazis did before they shipped people off to the concentration camps!!!111!!!".

Just my opinion.
