And fair enough, too. The only time IPs were ever shown was to stop an online/offline stalker who was threatening very real physical injury to one of our regulars. It was an extroadinary situation that required extroadinary measures. We have no plans to ever make IP#s available again.

I know this is not a popular stance but the Team honestly believes that we should never delete messages. Ever. That free speech is worthless if it's not available to everyone. Even, especially, the people you don't like. That's not to say that I don't think this last round of trollery isn't excessive and boorish, because it clearly is.

We're working on a compromise that will allow the board to me unmoderated while giving users a choice as to which threads they want to watch/ignore. See <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.voy.com/13774/25085.html">this post </a> further up the page for more details.

And no need to apologise. Your point is a valid one.
