Hi,

I don't know where else to post this.

It all started when I had strep throat and went to the doctor. I was o.k. with going to the doctor, because my dad is a nurse and I was used to hospitals and doctors offices. I go to my doctor and she gives me pills to take. A.k. this is where it happened. My mom asked her about the gardisl vaccine (my mom wanted me to get it). She said that i can get it when I get my tetnus booster shot. Then she says, ohh and by the way you will need a booster shot when you are eleven. The doctor leaves and I start bawliny because of these shots. A few months later, I start lookng up what is in a booster shot and if it will hurt.(I am deathly afraid of shots.) I start reading these horrer stories of shots. I become even more afraid. (this si where i become turned on about shots.) That fall I sign up for a new school. I turns out I need like ten shots. I totally lie and tell my mom that I hate my doctor. She makes copies of my records and has my dad sign them because I remember having them, but they were old. So I was happy about that. Now that fear of getting a tetnus shot became into a huge fear of the doctor. My mom keeps bringing it up that I need a physical when I am twelve and we need to find a doctor. Does someone have advice on what I can do to be less afraid or have any stories that will boost my confidence. I am also afraid on a gentials exam. What goes into a physical.
