I'm an adult who used to be a school teacher and I really understand that you're afraid of the doctor, of needles, and of talking about it. I want to help you, but I'm not sure where to refer you on the net. I'm trying to find something for you. Write back to me here and I'll keep checking in -every few hours until we connect.

In the mean time, I'm glad you didn't include an email address. Don't, the risk of someone attempting to find out who you are is too great. Don't even tell me or anyone else where you live. When you're certain you know someone or a group to help, talk to them.

I've not had the fears you have, so I don't know what thoughts or experiences help stop the fears, but others do.

I don't want to describe a physical exam because I'm not sure what's done for kids your age and I bet once you explain your fears the exam for you will be different to help you.

I have a counselor I'll ask what to do. Sometimes she takes a couple of days to get back to me.
