As you may have guessed, a new board has been set up, which requires people to register their user name. This hopefully will sort out the crap imposters that have killed this board.
70+ people have already registered, so if you want to come to an improved format, with much more talk about 3rd division footie, cheese, go-karting and women, then try:

- To Chesterfield FC Supporters Worldwide: -- Mike, Chesterfield FC, 12:56:10 06/12/02 Wed (213.122.138.6)
12 June 2002
IMPORTANCE : HIGH
The test of any football club lies in its response to challenge. How does it react to adversity, change in football climate or natural disaster? At Chesterfield FC, we know success requires us to step up and meet challenges head on.
We can't win every game ... but we can make sure we stay in the Division. We can be prepared, committed and willing to risk new approaches or new ideas to the game. We aren't perfect ... "perfect people" never risk failure. We are committed. We will try every venue; employ every tactic to get the job done.
Travelling to Chicago, New York and Europe in recent weeks, I've seen this commitment in the faces of hundreds of Spireites. Make no mistake, it is a difficult football environment around the world at the moment. We know it. We will handle it.
Chesterfield FC (Korea) is a good case in point. Our fan base in Korea is not firm. Our early exhibition games did not gain traction. Our complex structure proved confusing to potential supporters. We sapped the strength of the Spireite brand. But, we did not leave.
We recognised Korea is pivotal to Chesterfield FC's success in North Asia ... a collection of distinctive, diverse pockets of Derbyshire fanatics expected to grow to $110 billion in 2004. A growing, aggressive, football-based economy ... the Korean market is not yet dominated by a single football club. Once Chesterfield FC has established itself in Korea, the country can become a launching point for lower league opportunities throughout North Asia.
The Spireite Korea Action Team (SKAT) knew this was a challenge from which we could not withdraw. They did not. SKAT rolled up their sleeves and got back to work. Candidly assessing the situation, SKAT took action.
Last week, Chesterfield FC was reintroduced to the Korean market as a stand-alone brand. At a briefing attended by journalists from 21 football media organisations, our team announced the Chesterfield FC Korea Group, a unified organisation bringing together our entire portfolio of footballing capabilities ... under a single, easy-to-understand banner.
Our team committed to combine local management and playing customs, as well as local skills and expertise, with Chesterfield FC's' international scale and scope. They committed the Spireites to the Korean market, telling prospective supporters Chesterfield FC Korea Group is an in-country enterprise that understands Korean needs and supports the growth of Korean football.
Our colleagues in Korea were up to the challenge. They engaged. They didn't retreat. They brought a new value proposition to market. It was well received. They know this is only the first step in a long journey towards global football domination ... but they are committed to moving forward.
Commitment is a cornerstone of Chesterfield FC, as is our ability to communicate. Direct, unfiltered communication and constructive feedback are hallmarks of the Derbyshire people. I have always sought to be open with you on this message board ... and I've invited you to be the same with me. This has enabled us to talk within the lower league family ... raise issues ... seek resolutions.
I know the climb is tough ... the hours long ... the demands intense. You have to play better, chant louder every game to maintain Chesterfield FC's momentum. It's not easy. Some supporters recently have criticised Chesterfield FC in online chat rooms, message boards and the media. These communications don't promote solutions or resolution. The momentary feeling of satisfaction they offer the sender is purchased at a high price -- the risk of doing great harm to our football club, our players and our fans.
Now is a time to come together. Where there are issues, let's surface them and address them. Left unanswered they will fester. We must be attuned to the needs of both our supporters and also to the others, the fans of lesser lower league teams..
We must all engage the issues of Chesterfield FC ... use the right channels ... bring issues to resolution. Seek to resolve without escalation. Tackle issues collaboratively with your fellow Spireites. Bring in your local Supporters Club leaders if the solution proves beyond your grasp.
You have the right and the power to reach anyone in Chesterfield FC. Use it. By working together constructively, we can move forward together successfully. With ...
Action...
urgency...
excellence!

The least dignified promotional tour of all time is about to take place. In the next week, Michael Jackson will appear at Exeter City football ground.
This makes Posh Spice dragging Beckham to a signing in Oldham's Woolies look like playing Madison Square Garden. The schedule is a fascinating document of a superstar in terminal decline.
Less than a decade ago, Jackson was able to sail giant statues of himself simultaneously down the rivers of five world capitals. Now his album has stiffed and he is appearing in a disco that would count itself lucky to hear Blame It On The Boogie at a PA by Big Fun.
The King of Pop's first engagement this Friday night is An Audience With Michael Jackson (featuring Patti Boulaye and The Golden Jubilee Choir) at Exeter City FC. Just wait for the look on Jackson's face on finding out that, yes, he is playing St James's Park, just not THAT St James's Park.
The salient point here is that the man who had the best-selling album of all time is now headlining a gig sponsored by Trident Vehicle Hire. However, it would be unkind to knock anyone raising money for a worthy charity. And thanks to this gig a team of third division footballers will be paid their June wages.
The real reason for the bizarre booking is the club's new non-executive chairman Uri Geller, who is also promising an appearance from David Blaine. The modern-day Houdini recently spent 34 hours standing on a pole in Manhattan's Bryant Park with no food. Now he is aiming to use his amazing powers of endurance to stay in Exeter for two whole hours. The man is clearly out of control.
Madonna's down the pub, Prince's down the dumper and Jackson - who went two decades without giving a British press interview - is now hob-nobbing with Exeter City F.C. The King of Pop is dead. Long live the King of Pap!

Poor Britannia - drowning in your waves
With the Body of the unknown soldier and the best of the brave
I have known you ever since I was a child
How come you don't salute me - now - when I smile
You was always so young and on all o' that money
How come new mourners pass you by and think it's so funny
I'd be there with you but I'm chained unto this stake
For I am loyalty but my mast I cannot forsake
I looked down on a bunch of amusements, I looked down walls
I've looked on hangings 'n parades 'n city halls
And I've seen love in so many living rooms
And I've seen rich men slowly die inside their tombs
I know we're just two charms but it's heavy on my mind
Have faith in me I said, now, look at time
I know you're just a victim of your history but
Have faith in me, I said and you would be free....
You pull me up and you pull me down
And when the Queen's in residence I hang around
I don't wave madly 'cos the climate's civilised
Just flutter sadly 'cos I'm old 'n I'm wise
And you-you been up, and you - you been down
You been through many things I know you been around
I have fought armies for you in the conflicts of the past
Britannia, I implore you, do not lower me by half.

Could I just advise a bit of caution, one swallow does not a summer make so you are not automatically favourites to win the world cup now, although as yesterday proved anything could happen and with the italians losing today it must be one of the most open world cups for a while?

- Some points from a neutral. -- Marlowe, 15:42:52 06/07/02 Fri (217.35.23.95)
Nicky Butt was awesome, if Patrick Vieira had given that performance the media would have wet themselves. This fact may well be overlooked simply because he's a Man United player, which is a shame. Ditto Paul Scholes.
Rio Ferdinand was wonderful and commanded everything. He and Campbell look a good partnership, a passer and a brick wall; which is what almost all good sides have been founded upon. Heskey was excellent, he often won the ball of Zanetti in central midfield and Scholes and Butt could build attacks from there.
Impressed with your ability to keep the ball and draw the sting from the Argentinians, Aimar looked a shadow of his Valencia self.
Had Batistuta won the penalty that Owen did, he'd be a cheating latino bastard. But for Owen, 'its all part of the modern game..'
All in all, its 31 sides playing around until Italy win it. We all know this.
The team needed its balance, and the sooner England stop trying to put square pegs in round holes the better, which is why Sinclair (and the side) looked so effective in comparison to the Sweden game, where Heskey playing left side made you look disjointed.

(We should have HAMMERED them) and Sheringham's volley after 17 passes would have been one of the greatest goals of all time had it gone in. I didn't like the way we sat back towards the end though. Perhaps two up front would have given us more breathing space. I also feel that Beckham faded fast towards the end. He should have been replaced. We do still need to beat Nigeria! Oh England, My Lionheart
Oh! England, my Lionheart,
I'm in your garden, fading fast in your arms.
The soldiers soften, the war is over.
The air raid shelters are blooming clover.
Flapping umbrellas fill the lanes
My London Bridge in rain again.
Oh! England, my Lionheart!
Peter Pan steals the kids in Kensington Park.
You read me Shakespeare on the rolling Thames
That old river poet that never, ever ends.
Our thumping hearts hold the ravens in,
Keep the tower from tumbling.
Oh! England, my Lionheart,
Oh! England, my Lionheart,
Oh! England, my Lionheart,
I don't want to go.
Oh! England, my Lionheart!
Dropped from my black Spitfire to my funeral barge.
Give me one kiss in apple-blossom.
Give me one wish, and I'd be wassailing
In the orchard, my English rose,
Or with my shepherd, who'll bring me home.
Oh! England, my Lionheart,
Oh! England, my Lionheart,
Oh! England, my Lionheart,
Oh! England, my Lionheart,
Oh! England, my Lionheart,
I don't want to go.

Energy calling me, back where I came from
It's such a crude attitude, it's back where it belongs
All the little chicks with the crimson lips go
England Rocks, England Rocks
She's living in sin with a safety pin
England Rocks, England Rocks (etc)
Momma knows but she don't care, she got her worries too
Seven kids and a phoney affair, and the rent is due
All the little kids growing up on the skids
Going England Rocks, England Rocks
American dreams, moody James Deans
Going England Rocks, England Rocks
England Rocks, England Rocks
I got some badges from World War II
I wear 'em just like my Granddad do
He was a villain and I am too
Oh England Rocks, England Rocks
So grab a place, find a space
And yell and scream for more
England Rocks, England Rocks

Without him getting injured, Scholes would have been stuck out on the wing, and we wouldn't have won.

SAPPORO, Japan, June 7 (AFP) - England made just one change for their Group F clash against Argentina here at the Sapporo Dome on Friday with Manchester United midfielder Nicky Butt coming in for Darius Vassell.
Butt lined up in central midfield with Paul Scholes, allowing Emile Heskey to partner Michael Owen in attack.
Heskey played in his less customary role on the left-hand side of midfield in England's 1-1 draw against Sweden while Aston Villa striker Vassell played up front.
Key defender Roberto Ayala was again ruled out with a thigh strain so Bayer Leverkusen's Diego Placente kept his place on the left side of Argentina's defence.
Manchester United's Juan Sebastian Veron wore the captain's armband in the absence of the injured Ayala.
Lazio star Claudio Lopez was dropped from Argentina's starting line-up and replaced by attacking midfielder Kily Gonzalez.
Gonzalez came on for the disappointing Lopez at the start of the second half of the South Americans' 1-0 win over Nigeria in their opening group F match.
Playmaker Ariel Ortega and midfielder Juan Pablo Sorin, who have been unable to train this week because of injuries, started for Argentina.
England: David Seaman, Danny Mills, Rio Ferdinand, Sol Campbell, Ashley Cole, David Beckham (capt), Nicky Butt, Owen Hargreaves, Paul Scholes, Emile Heskey, Michael Owen
Argentina: Pablo Cavallero, Mauricio Pochettino, Walter Samuel, Diego Placente, Javier Zanetti, Diego Simeone, Juan Pablo Sorin, Juan Sebastian Veron (capt), Ariel Ortega, Gabriel Batistuta, Cristian (Kily) Gonzalez
Referee: Pierluigi Collina (Ita)

I know its a bit late, but i just remember my dream last night, i remember Rio Ferdinand scored the first goal and we won the game 1-0. Cos i had a few quid on him to score and i won some cash. Premonition maybe who knows. Thing is when Liverpool were playing in the Champions league last year, i bet on Hyppia to score first as i had a dream that he scored a volley in Europe. Anyhow it didn't come off but the next game who scored, yip Sami Hyppia and it was similar to the one in my dream.
RIO RIO RIO.
Oh the goal from what i remember was a header off a Beckham freekick.

They're 2/1 to win the game today at Corals at the airport, but they didn't have a price yet for winning the group. (If they win today I think there's a very good chance to win the group). I'm not saying they will win today mind, just looking for a bit of value !

Dee Dee Ramone, original bass player for punk pioneers The Ramones was found dead Wednesday by his wife at their home in Hollywood. Investigators found drug paraphernalia at the scene, and the coroner's office reported that the cause of death might have been an overdose.
Dee Dee (whose real name was Douglas Colvin) started out playing guitar and singing when he formed a band with John Cummings (aka Johnny Ramone) in New York in the early '70s. He switched over to bass and backing vocals when Jeff Hyman (aka Joey Ramone) joined the band. Dee Dee remained a member of the Ramones until 1989, providing bass to some of the group's most well-known albums, such as Rocket to Russia and Road to Ruin. Dee Dee left the Ramones in 1989, but continued playing music long after.
Dee Dee began his solo career as Dee Dee King, recording a rap-based album, Standing in the Spotlight, that barely saw the light of day. He decided to stick with Punk Rock after that, serving briefly as a member of G.G. Allin and the Murder Junkies, recording solo, and even forming a Ramones cover band, The Remains, with former Ramones members C.J. and Marky after the Ramones broke up in 1996.
Ramone was also an artist, actor, and writer. Later in his life, he developed a painting hobby. He appeared in such movies as Rock and Roll High School and Born to Lose: The Last Rock and Roll Movie. He even authored two books - his autobiography Lobotomy: Surviving the Ramones, and a novel Chelsea Horror Hotel.
Earlier this year, the Ramones were inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, following Joey Ramone's death from lymphoma last year. Dee Dee was 50 years old.

Does anyone reckon that if France get knocked out it's a worse World Cup ? I do, because without the best players, it's not right. Having said that, I was loving it when Lundberg looked like he was out.

Special Agent Crozier - Report from behind enemy lines.
Location: Enemy Base Camp, somewhere in the far East.
All going well. Of the original mission I have accomplished:-
1)Closure of Wembley - they are now homeless with no solution in sight.
2)Loss of 2006 World Cup to Germany
3)Installation of foreign coach - was going to be Fergie but he couldn't bring himself to do it even for a laugh. Sven agreed on condition he was allowed to reclaim all blonde Swedish weather forecasters from the barbarians. Agent Sven performing remarkably - introducing long ball game just before World Cup. We should put them back 10 years by the end of Nigeria match.
4)Beckham fooled into thinking he had an injury - we got Fergie to show him an x-ray swiped from Glasgow Southern General and told him it was his foot and to stop training. This worked so well we used same x-ray for Neville and Murphy.
5)Took under 21 team away from Peter Taylor who had them playing well and gave it to Howard Wilkinson. That nearly compromised my cover as it was too obvious, so hired next best thing - David Platt
6)Our German friends agreed to take a dive in Munich so as to reinforce unwarranted superiority complex - avoiding awkward questions after Greece/ Holland/Italy games. Now showing real form against Saudi Arabia.
7)Sven secretly signed a three year deal with Swedish FA in April and is in fact managing their team at the World Cup.
8)Fergie has played Veron out of position all year to disguise his real talent until Friday.
9)I expect to complete mission by July 2002 when Sven takes Ulrika back to Sweden, media get on the back of all foreign coaches and insist on an Englishman. I will then give the job to Gazza before returning to God's country.
Alba Gu Brath
Agent Crozier

R KELLY CHARGED OVER CHILD PORN
R KELLY has been indicted on charges stemming from a videotape which allegedly shows him having sex with an underage girl.
A US grand jury charged Kelly with 21 counts of child pornography.
The felony charge carries a prison term of up to 15 years and a fine of up to £70,000.
A warrant had been issued for Kelly's arrest. He denies he is the man on the videotape.
Kelly, whose first name is Robert, who has worked with Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson and Celine Dion as well as a number of rap stars.
The tape, which allegedly shows Kelly having sex with a minor and other sexual encounters with women, is being circulated across the country and on the internet. Kelly has said he has not viewed the video tape.
He is also is the focus of at least four civil lawsuits, three of which accuse him of having sex with an underage girl. He has acknowledged settling two of the lawsuits regarding the charges, but his lawyers have said they will fight the third lawsuit.
That suit was filed on April 29 by a woman, who said Kelly had sex with her when she was a minor and forced her to have an abortion.
Kelly was briefly married to the late singer Aaliyah, who allegedly lied about her age in 1994 to get a marriage licence. She was 15 at the time.

Now look at it, its a disgrace, all the decent characters, Ricko springs to mind, have naffed off. We now have to put up with what appears to be relentless imposters and other such degenerates abusing the regular contributors with their foul mouths.
I for one am completly pig sick of it, what are the moderators doing ?, can we not ban these (i'm guessing there is more than one) messageboard hooligans ?, can't we track them down via there IP number ?. These idiots spoil it for everyone, the regulars slowly but surely stop posting, the casual poster is put off, and i never know who is who and am dare not reply to a posting for fear that it may not be genuine. Just look below at the posting from Nick Harrion - is that real or a clever forgery ?, i don't know, you tell me.
Imposter i am pleading to you, just please go somewhere else and leave us in peace, you are ruining it for every genuine lower league football fan.....please leave us in peace.
Moderators, why dont you do what you were voted (again i'm guessing) in for and either (a) Moderate - by this i mean you should be able to distinguish the real postings from the imposter and removed the fake ones. (b) BAN these idiots, speak to there ISP's, thats what the IP number is for isn't it ?, for gods sake Moderators, use your powers.
Thanks
BTW i have not used my real name, hey why bother you'll only think its the imposter
