Subject: World Cup

Here are my thoughts:

Argentina: were very good.

Italy: Boring as ever but they're certain to be in the final. Although they're terrible to watch, I'd rather they won than the Argies. You can't help but feel sorry for them after all the bad luck they've had at past tournements.

France: Over-reliant on Zidane and too may twats like Petit in the team who are shit. They'll still qualify from their group and are rightly amongst the favourites. Can't see 'em winning the thing, maybe if they'd had Pires.

Brazil and Spain: Both were quality to watch. Neither will win it but they could provide the tournements best moments, goals and matches. (Though for all the BBC's arselicking the best bit of skill in Brazil v Turkey was when Unsal flicked it over Roberto Carlos's head at the end and didn't even get a replay. If it had been the other way round we'd be watching it for months.)

Japan: Inamoto looks hilarious, like a giant baby.

Germany: Also hilarious. Did you see them celebrate that 8th goal like they'd won the World Cup. And filming the bloody scoreboard at the end.I bet in the dressing room they were all like "Now ve haf truly shown the Englander schwein who is greatest. mwuhahahaha"

Saudi Arabia: The coach with his clipboard will be the ture hero of the World Cup. He still reckons they're gonna make the 2nd round

Cameroon, Sweden, Turkey, Ireland, Denmark and South Korea: All have far worse teams on paper than England but managed to play far better as a team.

England: Just as they were when we beat Germany 5-1 our only tactics are Beckham set pieces and lumping the ball up for Michael Owen. We might still make the 2nd round though and maybe even the quarters depending on who we get there. I reckon we should have droppped Beckham and Owen for the friendlies before the World Cup so the players would have had to think a bit more and replaced Heskey and Campbell with a couple of guys who can actually play. Also, what the fuck is Kieron Dyer doing in the team? I've never seen nor heard of him playing well for anyone. He's just always injured. Where is this supposed mercurial talent? I reckon he's got that agent from the Carlsberg advert.

The World Cup is ace and being a student even better. I've watched just about every game so far and I'm gonna continue to do so. I even kicked a girl out of my room on Sunday so I could watch Argentina v nigeria, when normally I'd have shagged her again. hehe. Mind you I've got exams in 10 days and I'll probably fail them.
