Subject: John Hollins leaves Rochdale

Dale have withdrawn their offer to John Hollins, and the club are now looking for a new manager. Quite why the club made an offer of a contract only for it to be withdrawn has yet to be established. Hollins is the only person to have given his side of the story so far and he says he is "disappointed".

Although he did well to maintain Dale's form he was never really popular and many fans won't be too bothered to see him leave.
