Despite the government being happy to let several hundred illegal immigrants through the channel tunnel every day, a man from Skipton has been separated from his Australian wife because of a paper cock-up. She has been deported to her homeland, despite all official channels being pursued correctly.

Girls from East Yorkshire have been branded "grubby slappers" by a cosmetics firm, because they say that 'Ull lasses wear too much make-up, and don't bother to take it off when they go to bed (cue Blakeys).

Here's small Paul with the weather, and a comment about Essex girls being the real grubby slappers......
