Subject: Update

Just got home from Indy and thought I'd better give everyone an update on Dwayne. Yesterday, the day after surgery he seemed to be doing pretty well and the Dr. said if he kept improving and his ballance got better he might let him come home on Tue. insteat of going to rehab. Today however he wasn't doing very well. He spent most of the day sick and hasn't been able to keep anything on his stomach. His walking is also not doing what they want and his left hand seems to be drawing up more than it did. The Dr. is now talking about rehab again. Not real sure they will even let him out of Methodist yet. They are having trouble controling his diabetis and have put him on 2 kinds of insulin. I have been leaving here early in the mornings and not returning until late so for all of you who have left messages I will get back to you as soon as I can. Will keep you all posted. Connie
