There is a family (Richard and Perry Jordan) who traveled to the Easterns from North Carolina with the Mabes. I talked to Richard Jordan on Sunday morning about Chris' safety equipment. He said that Chris had the best that money could buy for all of his safety equipment. But, he said that Chris did not wear his "top-of-the-line" shoes that night because the cheaper ones were cooler. Richard thought that was why the burns were bad on his feet and ankles. Someone said they thought that Chris tried to take a glove off because he was having trouble getting unbuckled with it on. I don't know if that glove part is true or not. I didn't see the accident. Those who did--Would it have made a difference if the top car with the busted tank would have had a bladder?
