My question is how much safety equipment/personnel did the track have? Was there 55 gallon drums of water with open tops and 5 gallon buckets of water handy in the infield? How long before any water was put on the blaze? 55 gallon drums and 5 gallon buckets are a dime a dozen and 1 on each end of the track and 2 spaced evenly in the middle would be a great safety feature at EVERY track.
