Richard, I apologized below if we stepped on anyones toes. I really didn't think it was a big deal to put our info on this forum. I'm sorry that you feel the way you do and have hard feelings towards the Jackson track, we don't have any towards you, your track, the NMMA or any of the racers. At the request of the racers in our area we are racing this weekend. We had two meetings with the local racers one at Stateline and one at Jackson, at both the racers asked us to run this race this weekend so they could race as there are only a few from up here heading to nationals.

Your encouragement and help was and still is very much appreciated by everyone at Jackson. It was discussed with the NMMA members in our area, we did ask how they felt about Jackson and the situation with the NMMA. It was a unanamous vote, the racers felt that not only were we getting the shaft but more so they were by not being able to compete in the points program as fairly as racers in other areas were. It was not an easy decision but Jackson did what they felt was best for the track and the area racers. Funny thing is we had more racers show up last week than we normally had when we were sanctioned!
We had only two races that didn't have enough to be a sanctioned race. One did have 11 sign in with 7 actually racing, according to the rule book it should have been sanctioned as a "class c' race and could have been counted as our 6th race. But the powers that be didn't see it that way. We are not the ones that had a problem reading the rule book, to us it was clear cut. The true problem is one rule reads one way and another reads in a differnt way, to many of them are left to interptitation. Who's interptitation is correct and who's is wrong? That is exactly what we were dealing with, one person would tell us yes we could have our race and the next day someone else would call and tell us no.

Again we at Jackson apologize for upsetting you. It was not our intent and we won't do it again. As for true colors showing, I guess we are seeing yours now also. Apparently Jackson was a great track to you as long as we sat back and let the NMMA run us over. Stand up for ourselves and we are not a good track anymore? What's sad is we are all still NMMA members and were planning on coming to Peru to race in August but since you have made it so apparent that you harbour ill feelings towards us I guess we'll stay home.

You need to relize that you once were starting out and struggling, it wasn't the NMMA that built you up to where you are now it was you! The NMMA has many problems and seems to want to do very little to help thier tracks, you shouldn't give them as much credit as you do for your success.

Good Luck and Good Racing,

Carrie
