Tony, In regards to drinking Brandy and Coke. The M.O.was quite right in telling you to lay off drinking Coke.'Daddy Mac'used to only drink lemonade with his Brandy and I suppose the reason would be that Coke rots your guts!....Drinking in the quanities that we used too would cause severe stomach pains over a period of time. It was very infrequently that we got 'absolutely leg-less'reason being because I think we took our time and continually topped up. You have heard that you can drink yourself 'Sober'!...Well,its true to a point!...It usually takes at least 48hrs for Alcohol to clear the blood-stream! We in them days working on that basis, were never stone cold sober.Even if we had stuck to the rules we would have always been over the limit in regards driving!....Makes you think,doesn't it?....
