I think most of us at one time or another did visit this daunting place of Bergen-Belsen! It should always serve as a reminder of mans inhumanity. I once had the privilege of meeting an old man who had been one of the first Medic's into that 'Death Camp'. He was known as 'old Clem'. I cannot remember for the life of me, what his surname was?...He continued to stay in Germany after the War and resided just outside Lippstadt at a place called Bockenforder. Those of you that served in Lippstadt may well remember this gentleman. A truly remarkable character and one whose memories of the Atrocities witnessed must serve as a reminder to all of us of these horrific events!.....
