Jim, no need to apologise mate! I knew what you meant. I couldn't agree more with your remarks about Political Correctness and the compensation culture but it's not confined to the Armed Forces. Unfortunately, it's deeply rooted in our society as a whole now and I don't see any way of eradicating it. This is one of the main reasons for the spiralling cost of providing health care, policing the streets and just about every aspect of providing community facilities. The same goes for the selfish attitude prevalent in this country, were people don't give a monkies for anyone but themselves (there are exceptions, of course but, sadly, few and far between). As a contrast to what I've just said, what about that young lad, Cpl Beharry? Perhaps there's hope for us yet?
