Dave, I remember one Christmas in Fallingbostel going god knows where and really tying one on to the degree that I was bang out of order coming back to the Battery lines and being pissed off trying to take on anybody and everything that came across me! Basically I was put in the cells because I was so drunk and incapable which was unusual for me as I could normally handle the booze in a more appropriate manner! Remember waking up and being given 'Gun-fire' by the BSM and BQMS in the cells! Now that was surreal! Also being let out to go to the JNCO's mess at lunchtime without further consequences of any disciplinary action taken against me whatsoever! They certainly looked after us in them days!...By the way I also did a certain amount of time in the cells in Lippstadt for smacking a full screw for bullying! Thought I might have got Colchester but due to the fact that this bastard wasn't liked and that the majority of the lads spoke up for me in my defence I only received Twenty-eight days detention. I always was a jammy bastard in them days!......Take care Brummy Dave, speak to you soon!..........
