After taking a few more drags from Tristan's cigarette, Marz rested his head on his lover's shoulder. Once again he attributed his very mellow mood to fatigue from closing the chakra rather than from the smoke he inhaled. He closed his eyes and started to doze until Jeremy bumped into him while passing Tia a goblet. Marz lifted his head, smirking when his vision blurred slightly.

Without thinking, he accepted the two glasses of wine the otherworldly youth handed him. He gave one to Tristan then took a sip from his own glass since there wasn't any java left. Marz thought about brewing a fresh pot, laziness making him shrug off the idea. Chuckling softly for no reason whatsoever, he took another hit from the sweet tasting cigarette Tristan held to his lips.

"Here's a couple more," Jeremy chirped, setting the special cigarettes and two Snickers bars before Marz and Tristan. He handed a glass of wine to Rowan before taking a drink of what remained in the bottle. After finishing his cigarette he explained how truth or dare was played.

While listening to Jeremy, Tia munched on a candy bar, washing it down with the strong Nerombian wine. When her eyes fell upon Marz and Tristan she smiled. They made a perfect couple! Both were young and incredibly cute. Why were all the good looking guys unavailable?

She giggled then lit up a cigarette. Well, maybe not all the lookers were taken. Rowan and Corum weren't attached, unless Yorik could be considered a significant other. The thought made her laugh aloud, drawing strange looks from her friends. Marz met her eyes then joined her in a laughing fit. By the dazed look on his face Tia could easily see that the dark eyed youth was on his way to becoming totally wasted. Well, didn't Jeremy say that a party wasn't really a party unless everyone got drunk? She drew more sweet smoke into her lungs then glanced at Rowan, who seemed to be volunteering to start the new game.

Jeremy nearly choked on the smoke he was inhaling when Rowan chose Marz to be the subject of his truth or dare. He coughed a few times then gulped wine from the bottle before staring at the elf. Maybe Tristan and Tia were oblivious to it at the moment, but Jeremy could feel the sexual tension that was building up between Marz and Rowan. Shit, it was so thick he'd need a knife to cut through it! Was Rowan trying to get himself killed by taunting and tempting Marz right in front of Tristan?

Jeremy took a seat close to the elf and casually tossed an arm around his shoulder while guzzling more wine. Hopefully, Tristan would think they were in a relationship now and wouldn't get so jealous if Marz decided to kiss Rowan. After seeing the sexual sparks that flew between the elf and the ex-gang leader earlier, Jeremy prayed that Marz would pick someone else to lock lips with at the moment. "You're such an idiot," he whispered to Rowan before focusing on Marz and wondering what the hell he was going to do.

Marz stopped kneading the muscles in Tristan's back and dropped his hand to his thigh again. The action made the dragon suck in a breath before grabbing the hand to stop it from moving too far up his leg. The ex-gang leader turned to give his lover a smile then he focused on Rowan. He let his gaze roam the length of the seated elf, openly admiring what he saw. His breathing deepened as he imagined the hard body hidden under the clothing. Dark eyes met blue eyes in an intensely erotic stare that professed the desire that was building up between them. Marz shifted his gaze to Jeremy when he sat down beside Rowan and placed his arm around him. The otherworldly youth certainly had a way of ruining a perfect moment.

"So, are you going to kiss anybody?" Tia called out.

"I'm thinking about it," Marz answered, his face flushed from the heat that coursed through his body. He snatched another drag from Tristan's cigarette then pulled off his shirt. "I'm raking hot," he quipped, his words having a double meaning.

Jeremy stared at Marz, willing him NOT to come near Rowan right now. When the ex-gang leader got to his feet, Jeremy leaned in to give the elf a quick kiss on his lips.

Marz let out a slow breath then tore his eyes away from Jeremy and his silly antics of hanging all over Rowan. Two steps took him to Tia, a grin crossing his lips when she looked up at him in puzzlement. She gripped the hand he held out to her and nearly fainted on the spot when he drew her into his arms. Her entire body tingled when he kissed her, his tongue slowly probing the inside of her mouth. She was vividly aware of the heat that emanated from him as he pressed tightly against her. Lost in the moment, her hands caressed his back, his bare skin feeling as smooth as silk. An intense yearning rose up within her, leaving her feeling weak in the knees. When Marz finally pulled away, she stood there gaping at him, her body shivering slightly.

"I'm goin' for a swim," Marz slurred, glancing at Tristan before staggering off toward the water. He chose a spot behind an outcropping of rocks that hid him from Erlic and Argus, who waded in the water off in the distance. After stripping down to his barely there underwear, he stumbled his way into the warm water. He leaned back against the smooth stone wall of the hot spring and closed his eyes, letting his thoughts drift where they would.

As soon as Tia regained her senses she hurried to kneel beside the dragon. "Please don’t be mad or jealous of me, Tristan," she pleaded. The petite thief gulped then placed her hands on the dragon's shoulders. She felt guilty for responding to Marz's kiss and desiring more from him. "I know that Marz is yours. I only kissed him because of the game and didn’t mean to get so lost in the feel of his lips on mine." She cleared her throat, mentally chastising herself for sounding like an idiot. "I'm your friend, Tristan. I'd never think about trying to steal Marz away from you. Please say you don’t hate me because of my obvious reaction to that kiss."

When Marz left the campsite, Jeremy breathed a sigh of relief. "You're really treading on dangerous ground, Rowan," he whispered. "Can't you just give up the notion of conquering Marz? Why don't you go after Tia instead? She's a lot safer and I think she likes you already, so it should be easy for you to win her over."
