Subject: I'm all for those anti-depressants
In reply to: Rowan 's message, "The anti-depressant" on 22:59:54 02/20/02 Wed

An unattractive scowl took shape on Jeremy's face when Rowan began talking, because he fully expected to be belittled for his so-called infantile actions again. His face softened after the elf promised that he wasn't about to lecture him. Of course, he really didn't believe that until Rowan started telling him about the first time he fell in love. Although his mind was a little befuddled from the painkiller and wine, he tried his best to focus on everything that was said, and even managed to smile after a while.

"You should know better than to think that nobody wants you," Rowan said quietly.

Jeremy smirked at that comment. Why would anyone on this world want someone like him who didn't fit in at all? He had absolutely nothing in common with the people here. They didn't understand his world and he had a hard time accepting theirs. He knew they all thought he was a freak because of his spiky, colorful hair, body piercings, and the numerous tattoos that covered him. And, nobody wanted to get too close to a freak!

He rolled his eyes when Rowan said that he wanted him then took another sip from the wine bottle. You want my chocolate candy, not me. Even Saras got off on all the snack food he handed out. Marz was the only one had made him feel like a real person! He could still remember how it felt to be kissed by him while their bodies were still pressed together from the dance that had ended.

Jeremy was just starting to think about things like sex when his parents were killed. After that he couldn't think about much of anything except why he was still alive, and inadvertently went off in search of ways to end his own life by getting involved with the wrong crowd. The following year was spent in a haze of drugs and gang wars. Who had time to think about relationships and hormones that were beginning to act up? Soon after getting himself straightened out enough to give dating some serious thought, he ended up falling through the portal that dumped him on this crazy world.

"That Marz of yours is admirable," Rowan was saying. "Far more than I'll ever be. Trust me, kiddo, desiring someone, especially someone like that, doesn't make you a freak."

FINALLY! At least it sounded like Rowan understood how he was feeling now. Marz had awoken strange feelings and sensations in him that he never experienced before, and he just wanted to feel those things again! Rowan had made him all tingly that time that he kissed him as well, but he really didn't get to enjoy that too much since Tia came into the room, and interrupted things. Since that time, the elf had been practically ignoring him. Jeremy figured it was because he was tired of associating with someone half his age, so he turned his full attention to Marz, who was only a couple of years older than him. He had the feeling that Marz liked him a lot but only kept his distance because of stupid Tristan!

He took another drink of wine was about to ask Rowan what he thought Marz saw in the dragon, but before he could open his mouth, the elf leaned forward and kissed him. Immediately, Jeremy got that tingly sensation again, and was very disappointed when Rowan backed away to apologize. He stared at the elf while running his tongue over his lips and wondered if was only teasing when he said that he wanted him.

"Tell me you don't mind my wanting you," Rowan said softly.

Suddenly the room felt much too warm. Jeremy glanced at Rowan's hand, which played with the collar of his shirt. He closed his eyes and imagined what it would feel like to have that hand caressing his naked flesh. After letting out a shuddered breath, he opened his eyes and set the bottle on the table before facing Rowan. For some crazy reason, he started to shiver a little. He chewed on his lower lip for a moment then gave Rowan a rather timid kiss. "I don't mind you wanting me," he whispered, gazing into the blue eyes that stared at him. Hoping not to appear too stupid, he slid a nervous hand under Rowan's shirt, letting it rest on the taunt muscles of his stomach before kissing him again with a little more force this time. Praying that no one would burst into the room to disrupt things this time, Jeremy moved his mouth to the elf's neck and lightly sucked at the skin, while his hand found its way to Rowan's thigh. He had no idea if the elf liked what he was doing or not. Jeremy wasn't a pro at this and was working on pure animalistic instinct alone, certain that Rowan would simply shove him away if he didn't want things to go any farther.
