Isobel sat up quickly as Ravin and Alakbar entered the tent. "Are we being attacked?" She asked, then relaxed slightly as Ravin explained why they had come in.

"I'll stay awake and watch over you and Alakbar while you sleep if you like," Ravin offered.

"It is probably a good idea to keep him under guard," she said to Ravin as Alakbar lay down to sleep, oblivious to the fact that he was offering to protect her, too.

She lay back down, her hands crossed behind her head, and stared at the tent roof. Now that she knew there were assassins outside the camp she was having trouble sleeping. And knowing that Justin was right outside probably thinking of ways to sneak in and accost her did not lend to her sense of well-being, though she was sure no assassins would get past the merc. Unless he tripped and hit his head on a rock again, that is. She chuckled to herself and glanced over at Ravin. She saw him look quickly away from her and he looked a bit pink in the face.

She rolled over onto her side, her head propped up on her hand, which naturally caused her cleavage to display itself in that skimpy top (though she hadn't done it on purpose and was completely unaware of it since she was thinking about the assassins, not hormones). "Seņor Ravin, is something wrong? Other than the assassins lurking to slit our throats as we sleep, I mean."

Barry muttered as Corum informed Erlic of the nasties outside camp. He took off, flying up into the air high enough so he would hopefully not be spotted, then headed for the rocks where the skulkers skulked.

He watched them for a while, briefly considering dumping a scorpion or two down their backs, but decided against it since that would let them know they'd been spotted.

Oh... what the heck... he floated to where he would be behind the assassins and disgorged two scorpions which fell to the ground behind them. There was no way they could know that they had come from somewhere other than the desert. He chuckled quietly to himself as the scorpions made their way toward the assassins, then hurriedly floated back to the camp to check out those hot Jann babes some more. Maybe he could get one of them to massage his temporal bone. Ooh la la!
