Corum had just finished explaining to Erlic what was happening. Barry had managed to poof on him, so he decided to head back to the tent Marz, and Tristan were occupying. Just as he was about to enter, a none-to-happy Jeremy nearly ran into him. The youth had something scribbled on his forehead, but he took off in such a huff, that Corum didn’t have the time to find out what it said. Shrugging his shoulders he proceeded into the tent, where he found Marz, and Tristan occupied with Yorik.

Corum stared, and was amazed at part of the transformation that had occurred over Yorik. “Wow,” Corum exclaimed. “That’s way too cool what you’ve done with Yorik!” He had heard Jeremy use those words for something that was pretty good, and he felt that now was the appropriate time to let his friends know.

The youth sat down next to Marz, and examined the kit that Ravin had let the youth use. In it he discovered a red wig. “Hey check this out,” he mentioned as he put the wig on Yorik’s head. “It’ll go good with the dreadlocks that Yorik already has.”

“The dreadlocks?” Marz questioned.

“Oh yeah,” Corum smiled sheepishly. “That’s what Jeremy called hair that was tied in knots or something like that. Yorik has those two wolf tails hanging from his head, and the wig will make it look like he’s ready to fly. Nice job with his lips!”

Black leather gloves and your lipstick shines bright as moonlight glows. My wildest rose cuts so fine and deep. It hurts but never shows. You're bad, you're so hardcore pull me down here on the killing floor.

“Yeah, whatever,” Corum mumbled as he continued to experiment with Yorik’s newly found hairdo.

“Hey,” Corum yelled out. “Don’t you think his earrings are a bit too short considering he now has long hair?” Corum studied them for a bit as he looked around the room. “I’ll be right back.”

With that the youth rushed out of the tent. He spotted Laurel sitting with Erlic, and approached them. “Don’t move,” he stated to Laurel. He stared directly into her face looking at her ears. She had long hair, and he was sure that she probably had long earrings. “Well, you’re no help,” he stated when he couldn’t spot her earrings, and walked away.

He suddenly spotted Tia standing with Rowan. He rushed over to them, and looked into Tia’s face. Tia looked back at Corum wondering what his problem was. “Is there something wrong Corum?”

The youth kept staring at her ears until he suddenly realized that she knew who he was. “You can see again!” he exclaimed. “Coolness. Now hold still.” Tia looked rather nervous at Corum. “Got it,” the youth exclaimed when he spotted her long earrings. Of course he didn’t think to figure out that her hair had been drawn behind her ears, which thus exposed her earrings. “Thanks Tia!” he stated as he gave her a kiss on the cheek before leaving.

On his way back he stopped by the mess tent to pick up some more food, and wine. No telling when they were going to finish with Yorik. After all, there was so much to do, and so little time to do it in. He stopped in mid stride as a thought formed inside his expansive cranial orifice. Why in the world were they doing this to Yorik anyway? It suddenly dawned on him that this was Marz’s idea, and he had stated that Yorik looked quite pale. That’s probably the reasons the skull was spewing ridiculous nonsense all the time. It had nothing to do with damage to his head; rather, it probably had everything to do with his complexion. Well, that made more sense than anything else he had thought of.

He made his way back to the tent, where he refilled Marz’s glass with wine, and placed the foodstuffs on the ground so that everyone, including himself naturally, could dabble with the food. The walk had made Corum quite hungry, and he quickly downed a piece of cheese before turning his attention back to Yorik.

“Yep,” he stated. “Yorik definitely needs longer earrings. I just spotted Tia, and she has long hair, AND long earrings.” He looked around, and wondered what to do about the situation. “Anyone got any long earrings?”

On a personal level, Freaking Out is a process whereby an individual casts off outmoded and restricting standards of thinking, dress, and social etiquette in order to express CREATIVELY his relationship to his immediate environment, and the social structure as a whole.
