After attaching the beads to his short hair, Jeremy made a face at the flying skull, who seemed to be shocked by the genie's gender. The otherworldly youth knew right off that Saras was a male, who just happened to be very in touch with his feminine side. He also knew that the girls on his world would be drawn to the genie because of his unique looks.

When Saras announced that he was perfect, Jeremy nodded his head in agreement. Why was everyone having such a hard time understanding that? I wish I looked like him! Of course his wish had a lot to do with the way Marz was looking at Saras earlier. There was no denying the hunger he saw in the ex-gang leader's eyes and he'd give just about anything to have Marz look at him like that!

Jeremy rolled his eyes when Tristan began to criticize the genie. Obviously, the dragon was jealous because Marz never gave him the attention that he had given to Saras. Which should tell you that he don't think you're as hot as YOU think you are. He lit another cigarette then fiddled with the strand of beads hanging down from his hair while quietly listening to the rest of Tristan's banter. When the dragon finally said he was sorry, Jeremy smirked because it really didn't sound like he meant to apologize at all.

His eyes followed Tristan when he ran off, entering the tent Marz had disappeared into earlier. After talking a few more deep drags from his cigarette he turned to face the genie, only to find that he had vanished. Jeremy tossed the half finished smoke to the ground then hurried off to search for his new fashion idol.

A short time later, he found him sitting in a tent beside an injured Ravin. Valhorek was quick to tell him what happened when he inquired, and after thanking the healer for filling him in on the details, he approached Saras. "Can I talk to you outside for a minute?"

The genie seemed hesitant to leave the injured thief but finally conceded due to Jeremy's persistence. The otherworldly youth led him back to the food tent where he helped himself to a glass of wine. "Don't listen to that stupid Tristan," he said, after taking a drink. "He's a jerk who wouldn't know perfection if it smacked him in the face! I think you look great!"

Jeremy clamped his mouth shut when Tia walked into the tent carrying a small bundle under her arm. The petite thief approached them, a smile lighting up her pretty face. "Who's this?" she asked, her violet eyes looking the genie up and down.

"His name's Saras," Jeremy said, before going on to introduce Tia to the man. "Ravin found him. He's a genie!"

Tia's huge, round eyes seemed to grow larger. She had never met an actual genie before! They certainly were pretty, but were they as powerful as the Nerombians claimed they were? "Do you really grant wishes and live in a bottle?" Tia asked, while filling a glass with wine from a pitcher on the table. She handed it to Saras then filled another for herself. "And, are you coming with us to find the Sea of Salt?"
