Sarra finally roused herself from the bathing pool and was moving down toward the dining hall, embarassed she'd delayed as long as she had already, and met with Kandarin and Neramii in the hall. Avoiding the inhuman's eyes, she smiled at Kandarin, who merely arched a brow as delicate as was the rest of her attractive face, though the fragile quality of her long, slim body did nothing to mask a great strength of will underlying it all.

"Hello, Kandarin," Sarra greeted with a smile, and then tacked on, "And Neramii as well", when the amber-eyed Nerombian gave her a look that suggested she do so.

"Sarra, isn't it?" Kandarin murmured cooly. She was bothered by this woman's superior attitude toward Neramii, who had wormed her way into Kandarin's heart despite it all. She would not see any one disrespect the shifter as she, Kandarin, initially had.

"It is," the raider replied. Kandarin noted she was wearing her indecent leather clothing once more, and scoffed mentally. Any woman who adorned herself thus must have very low spiritual worth. And she dared openly insult Neramii, a pure heart, with her glances and narrowed eyes. "Why are you so frosty with me, anyway?" The Raider had the gall to sound irritated.

Kandarin's eyes narrowed to dangerous amber slits, dramatically framed by the dark length of her long eyelashes, and Sarra started at the intensity that she was caught in with the gaze. This woman had very powerful eyes. Neramii stepped forward and laid a hand on her friend's arm, and Sarra watched Kandarin relax, her expression softening slightly though it was still by no means kind as she returned her attention to Sarra.

Neramii was made nervous by the venemous disposition Kandarin had regarding this new woman, Sarra, and left her small dark hand on Kandarin's arm even after her silent plea was acknowledged. She was used to poor treatment - indeed, good treatment surprised her! - and was bothered by Sarra's scrutiny far less than Kandarin. She studied the two. Someone not of Nerombia might mistake Sarra for desert-born, with her dark eyes and long, thick black hair, but no one would ever think Kandarin from any where else. The differences between them were numerous, albeit subtle. Kandarin had the rich, sandy complexion of her people, the brightness of her eyes startling against the hue of her skin. Her eyes, also, were the shape of a tribal woman - slightly slanted, set apart on the sharp height of her cheekbones. She had a long-bodied, slim-boned grace that bespoke stength and supple coordination.

Sarra was a good bit shorter than Kandarin, and though her hair was no shorter or lighter, the fine quality of it told of the refinement of her own ancestors. Her skin was nearly as dark as Kandarin's, but Neramii guess it was due to exposure to the Nerombian sun rather than being her natural tone. If she kept herself veiled or hooded, she would be as pale as a red-head. Her eyes, while dark, were noticeably blue in the light, though when shadowed their nearness to being black was startling. They were larger than Kandarin's, set closer in a face much rounder than the taller woman's though no less strong. Her form was curvaceous, and as slim-waisted and narrow-shouldered as she was in comparison to the Nerombian, Sarra's physical strength was no less apparent, but less commanding.

However, if she wasn't of Nerombian birth, Neramii felt no danger from her as far as the shifter's own safety. Avoid her, Sarra probably would, but she would not seek destruction of her, Neramii was certain. She would have to explain this to Kandarin. In fact, she was surprised by her friend's protectiveness. Not so long ago she had regarded Neramii much more harshly than Sarra did now.

"If you are above speaking to Neramii, I am above speaking to you."

Sarra arched an eyebrow, her skeptical glance straying to the tiny form of the shifter, hovering just behind Kandarin's height, her knuckles whitening as she tightened her grip on the Nerombian's elbow. "She isn't human." She met the dark eyes of the creature unflinching, but was troubled by the odd lack of humanity within them and soon looked away.

"No," Kandarin allowed. "Not in the sense of blood and heredity. But she is a person; perhaps she is a better person than you."

Sarra laughed, surprising Kandarin, whose glower returned. She would have struck the near-stranger if it weren't for Neramii's gentle touch on her arm. "I suggest you silence yourself," she said, speaking through gritted teeth.

Sarra covered her mouth, eyes still shining, and when she dropped her arm to her side her lips quivered with the mirth she restrained. "Forgive me. I was...startled...by your accurate evaluation of my character."

Kandarin glanced at Neramii, who looked down, but not before Kandarin saw the amusement in her eyes, the relief.

"Well," she began, then stopped, unsure of how to procede. She wasn't used to dealing with laughing women.

"Forgive me. I will...refrain from judging her until I have reason." She nodded to Neramii, somber again. "Now, we had better get to the dining hall before they wonder what's happened to us."

In the doorway, Sarra paused. Another newcomer! Apparently having been presented in much the same fashion as was she, Sarra. A sudden thought struck her and she tensed, her fingers curling into a fist. If this woman was a thief sent after her box...

However, events soon revealed the woman to be a victim of a destroyed caravan, nothing more, and her haughty personality was believable enough to reassure Sarra. This one was no threat to the item Sarra still needed to abduct.

Sarra moved into the room, followed by Kandarin and Neramii, when Ravin introduced them, and sat down to relax in a chair. Her stomach was purring, but the didn't eat, instead keeping an expectant eye upon this...well, she chose not to contemplate the name in its entirety. She was anxious to hear the response to the girl's question, though she didn't feel knowledgeable enough to answer it herself.
