BATTLECRY

I've had my share of Falls

----

The summer days were slowly rolling by within the haze of the endless blue sky. This certain area had undulating hills were hued in a pea green blanket that had the burnt out look o' spending one too many days in heated weather. It was this type of weather that sent the shadow sheik in the deepest depths o' the brooding forest. There, at least, the sweltering heat and piercing rays could not infest the glistening look o' the desert type. Of course a few hours were spent in the golden face's presence, dulling the usual obsidian hide to a dark chocolate look. Or perhaps a melted look would be more appropriate. But that was neither here nor there. Battlecry was dwelling in that damp darkness that allowed one to breathe freely and quite deeply. The cool, dank oxygen rushed through the pulsating bloodstream to cleanse itself o' all worries that riddle the frame o' this brooding demon. Again another silent intake was given as the heated carbon dioxide was expelled with little to no force from nasal cavities. This unconscious process continued in its normal routine pattern as the raven gladiator's sense were within there full alert mode. Concave harks were fully erected atop the bold crown that was adorned with licorice tendrils. The Herculean frame was stilled as the nearby brush crackled with the flourishing of expanding wings. This time the once silent warrior allowed a muffled snort to dwindle into the cool, paling atmosphere. Haunted voids flicked heavenwards, noting the dimming clouds and the noticeable change of temperatures. At that moment, limber appendages went into a languid pace of the daring walk. One would think that this sizeable mass would make much noise, but it was quite the opposite. To watch this darkened shadow slip through the umbrage was in fact eerie. Steps were fluid and confident, never faulting, as the silenced hoof falls were given in precise moments. The undergrowth was clearing with every step that one took, bringing known destination into view.

Battlecry's senses went to overdrive as the fimiliar sweet toned vocals pierced the blazing atmosphere. His endless pools swept cautiously across the realm. They alit upon a figure that approached in a short clip pace. The distant shadow's scent wafted into nares before outline could be known. Each creature had their own scent...and thus each individual manifested a unique aura. Moonlight's was well known to Battlecry as he was only ever a few shadows away from the raveness. Battlecry greeted the mare with a discreet exhale of carbon dioxide. The hardend warrior stood in that quiet presence which he alays partook in.
