Tay had unfrozen Wyvern and the guardians before she dragged Joey and Tori off for a talking to. VJ and Mai had taken the creatures to see Washu, leaving the two sisters alone, looking out the window.

“I’m sorry you had to tell him. I know it hurts.”

“Okay, so I don’t completely. But I do understand how feel about your Vegita. And I do know how it feels to lose a son.”

“You are the only one of the sisters to even begin to understand. Thank you, Imooto-chan.”

“Hey, that’s what sisters do, Sis. We try to help each other.” She heard the door open. “Not that it always works. Good luck.” She stood and walked up to Liam. “Go easy on her. She’s really hurting. I really can’t blame her for wanting to die, losing everything that’s important to her.” She walked on out the door.

“DBVG Amanda?” asked Liam.

DBVG Amanda felt her heart leap in her chest. ‘Down girl,’ she reminded herself. ‘You’re a widow, he’s engaged.’ Her left hand went to a long, thin scar on her right arm, as her tail poked out from under her seven foot long hair. ‘Remember.’ “I didn’t think you’d come. I’m glad you did. It means a lot to me. Maybe now I can be with my son and mate.”

“If you think I’m gonna kill ya straight out, you’ll be disappointed.”

“I didn’t want that kind of death anyway. I’m Sayin. I may be an altiverse, but Sayin values never change. I want to die in battle.” ‘If I can beat my curse,’ she thought. She turned around to face him. “Well? Let’s get started.”
