I know how you feel about the learning process and letting a lot of things roll off. Before my recovery process, I was so sensitive and fought with people all the time. I am so much calmer. I was a real mess and everyone pushed my buttons all the time. I thought that it was all about them but really it was me. I finally learned to be humble but it wss very difficult and I had to learn the hard way. Hopefully it won't take you as long as me :) When I look back, I wish I wouldn't have fought with the answer all the time which was to just "get sober" . It has made the difference in my life and work. I am not the same person I was back then. I sometimes actually like myself :)
