Thanks Chloe,

I'll admit there's been a couple of times that had I not been in monitoring I most likely would have tossed a few back.

Your story is encouraging; you have accomplished a lot in learning and self growth it appears.

I've learned so much too. the stress level has been very high the past couple of years but I'm coping. I'm learning to deal with things/life's circumstances clear headed.

I know there are many here who haven't been able to secure work in nursing; that's got to be rough. Hanging tough and being persistent has benefited me. I was turned down several times for nursing positions before I finally became employed.

My most recent position was on a med/surg floor. The money was great and so were most of the staff. There were those there, however, that just loved to try and push newbies buttons. I've learned that my buttons are pretty well stuck these days. It just didn't affect me and I gave back as good as I got. I'm far from a cocky individual, but I learned that I handle myself real good these days.. lol

I know for me that having gone to hell and being on my way back has changed me forever. I'm much more compassionate, tolerant, and just over all better fine-tuned with life's roads in general. I have bullshit radar and avoid it at all costs!
