Not only have you publicly humiliated and disgraced me, making it extremely difficult to find an employer to accept me with the harsh terms you have imposed on my nursing license, and have knocked my down in every way that you could possibly think of. But wait, that's not all, I will survive and be a better nurse than any of you have ever been. You sit in your air conditioned offices pushing papers all day long that are within the "heinous nurse" guidelines and policies & procedures. All you know is that the disciplined nurse is required to submit papers A, B, and C; and jump through hoops X, Y, and Z. An exact process - no deviation. You do this job because you can't make it as a bedside nurse where you have to be able to think quickly on your feet and out of the box. You try to punish us more and more as each day goes on. For example, in my situation, taking a vacation for 4 days out of state. I was called to drop a urine the day of leaving; another drop 2 days after I returned; another drop the following week; and a fourth drop within the third week of my return from vacation. Well guess what you idiots - I've come this far and won't mess it up. You also have to the nerve to send me a meeting confirmation letter with the words "Priveledged and Confidential" on the outside of the envelope. Since when the hell are you concerned about confidentiality after you have already smeared my name? Confidentiality is not part of your vocabulary. Despite all your efforts to destroy my nursing career from my mistake in which NO patients were harmed or died, I say to you "Kiss my ass" as once this is all done and over, I will be a much stronger and better nurse than all of you combined.
