Even worse than that, Humble Pie recorded "30 Days in the Hole" the year after Peter Frampton left them.

This was on a certified gold top ten Humble Pie album, but the song is largely forgotten because it wasn't a Frampton staple that threw its fangs into "Frampton Comes Alive!"

Frampton has never recorded it because he had nothing to do with it.

Incidentally, a new Peter Frampton best-of collection was released Tuesday, going very, very largely unnoticed. Heck, even I didn't buy it.

They keep releasing the same stuff on different discs. Of course no one wants it. Blah blah blah blah blah blah.
