they are quarenting people who show possible signs of the illness for that long, which is why I am thinking it is 14 days.

I don't blame you for not taking him back (should they have actually gone), I probably wouldn't either. Not only do you have to consider your own families health, but everyone elses too.

Honestly, if it were me traveling, I would probably just take the extra days off and stay home myself with the kids....I couldn't imagine what I would feel like if I was sick and infected other people. I feel guilty enough with just the common cold.
