I have a day care family who has been planning a trip to Hong Kong for six months now. They would be leaving next week and returning in May. I told them I would not take their son back after their return UNTIL I know that nobody in the family has been infected. (have to find out what the incubation period is). Mom was NOT happy, so she looked into alternate care and guess what? Nobody will take this boy. Seems I'm not alone in my thinking. Dad's employment tabled the trip until next year IF the whole SARS problem has improved. So it's no longer an issue.
