My husband and I proudly walked into Yerkes Wedding Chapel and were married by the Mayor of East Lansdowne, PA.

The music was played on a Radio Shack cassette player, photos by *HORRORS* Polaroid. Ok, only one polaroid the rest were taken by the chapel's photographer aka, the First Lady of East Lansdowne, PA. Not professional but not horrible either.

I wore a dress purchased from Fashion Bug and worn for 6 honor's convocations in college.

The guest list, in it's entirety, my mother, his mother, the best man, his wife and their son.

Our reception was in a TINY Italian restaurant in South Philadelphia where they were so happy we were there they treated us like Prince Charles and Lady Di. We've been back to the restaurant many times over the years and the owner always remembers us and tells our daughter the story of our wedding reception. We're returning to the same restaurant Saturday night to celebrate.

We spent 6 months planning the *perfect* wedding and dumped it all for our simple celebration, which is exactly what *WE* wanted all along!

And I wouldn't change a moment of it...
