Subject: I gotta know how this has been handled by others.

When you have second child, how do you keep from killing your first? I know that this has been a particularly trying week since we have all been sick. Right now it's Carter's (4weeks old today) and my turns. I'm using the bulb suctioner around the clock!

In the meantime, Harrison (3 and a half years old) is driving me insane. Yesterday was the worst so far. He stuck Silly Putty in his hair when I left the room for 35 seconds or so. This isn't the first time he's had Silly Putty and he has always just smashed it onto newspaper and been fine.

We had to go to the grocery store and I ran into my room to get my sandals and when I came out, he'd carried Carter from his bouncy chair in the computer room to a chair in the living room, about 30 feet and over a marble hearth. The grocery store dissolved into one big tantrum of what toys he wanted and what candy he expected me to buy.

Is this normal new sibling behavior, or is this normal 3 year old defiance and I suddenly have no patience?

Skye
