Sounds like the school was deadset against providing what they should have been providing. Granted, that STINKS... but why didn't your mom just remove your brother/sister? I surely don't advocate stomping off in a huff w/out trying everything (which it seems your mother DID)... but there is a point you must (and I've been there) get to when you realize that all the fighting in the world isn't going to change THEM... and you become instantly empowered to provide better for you kids inspite of THEM. I don't understand why your mom allowed the school to keep 'educational custody' of her kids when she obviously knew something was seriously wrong and it wasn't going to change.
