I like your thinking. I see the logic in your speculation too. And just like you I believe that, although it is a possibility, the SFDs (Super Face Dancers) are more likely to be the descendents of Tlelaxu machinations than that of the Evermind (the the Evermind theory would prove interesting though).

I am happy to see that most of the members of this forum believe that the new "enemy" is actually the "old enemy" from the first Jihad. Most of those in the other forum to which I belong have already made up their mind that the "enemy" will be the SFDs and not the Evermind/Omnius (I hope to GOD it isn't the Cymeks... because I absolutely despise the notion of "brain canesters" and can not wait until we don't have to read about them any longer).

Lets hope that Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson are caring enough to use the "supposedly lost notes" and/or adhear to the continuity of the original Dune Novels for Dune 7... if they do JUST THAT... then I am more than happy to support them on their mission to milk the Duniverse for all it's worth by buying whatever prequels they publish (...God help me I feel as if I've just sold my soul to the devil).
