Subject: Analyzing Quotes

Since this forum is all but dead, I saw we start a new topic to try and revitalize it.... Lets analyze the quotes commonly distributed throuhout the dune series at the beginning of each chapter. To begin a have selected one from Chapterhouse: Dune....

"Some never participate. Life happens to them. They get by on little more than dumb persistance and resist with anger or violence all things that might lift them out of resentment filled illusions of security.

-Alma Mavis Taraza"

Herbert, Frank; "Chapterhouse: Dune," The Berkely Publishing Group, Copyright 1985 Frank Herbert; pg. 159.

Feel free to comment. Connections with the real world and the dune world will be appreciated.
