if i look at this quote and apply it to todays world i see
an analogy of the way most of the american public are being led around by the nose by the bought out media and warmongering big business. most of the citizens of america are content to let life happen to them, resisting with anger and violence anything that does'nt fit into the 'new patriotism' that is strangling dissent in thes country.the illusion of security has only been made worse by the uninformed, downright illegal foreign polies of the current administration.
