Subject: You seem to think I am somehow mitigating genocide

First off, war is not always a systematic destruction of something. In fact it usually isn't. It is usually to accomplish something like to gain independence or land. Destruction is sometimes the means with which that goal is accomplished.

You are pretty much right when you say genocide is the name given to the "form of war" where a race or group of people is being systematically destroyed. But that's not the same thing as saying genocide is war.

And you seem to think that I have somehow said that genocide is less than an atrocity because it is not the exact same thing as war. I said that genocide was even worse than war because it involved one side being completely slaughtered. I don't really appreciate the fact that you keep inferring that I somehow think genocide is less of a crime than you do just because I said it isn't the exact same thing as war.

But hey, I am really happy that all your friends agree with you.
