I said you have to read it with that thought in mind and then either deicide for or against it.

It's one thing to go by what you remember of it back when you read it, and another thing to re-read it with a different perspective in mind.

I'm not saying you have to agree with the perspective but read it with that in mind and see if your opinion is still the same.

BTW when I referred to a breach I meant with the Corinos, not harkonnen simple typo...

BUT I didn't mean that was necessarily the reason for the child... my point was that Paul knew he had to have the child, but did not fully understand what role that child would take. (I only listed possibilites)

also you say...

thats my point he did NOT follow that path... he waited ten LONG years THEN he finally upon seeing no other way out he finally accepted that path.. the start of the Golden Path, for without that one choice it would not happen.

He KNEW this was the answer all along, he didn't just come to the conclusion after 10 years of jihad, to have a child.

and to your final point, he knew that once Chani become pregnant things were set in motion he had to accept everything else. He was finally obeying the visions. he must not stray, including blindness. He says it many times once things have been set in motion.

I'm not saying you don't know the book. I'm ONLY saying you have to read it from THAT perspective to see if you can see my point. because there is not just one or two lines I can point you too.
